Obituary for Cindy Lou Hetchler

Cindy Lou Hetchler, 64, passed away at home with her family by her side, on Thursday, November 12, 2015 after a courageous four year battle with cancer.

She was born to Lyle and Lucille (Normand) Woodcock on February 2, 1951 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.
She graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High in 1969. Cindy married the love of her life, Gordon Vern Hetchler, on September 6, 1969 in Chippewa Falls. Together they lived and raised their children in Bloomer, New Auburn and Tilden, where they finally built their dream home.

Cindy enjoyed spending time on her deck, in her flower garden, and in her kitchen, where she was known for her wonderful homemade cooking. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. She will be forever remembered for her generosity and big heart.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Gordon Vern Hetchler; her children: Traci Hetchler of Ft. Meyers FL, Tricia (Dan) Wilkinson, of Chippewa Falls, Tony Hetchler of River Falls and Todd Hetchler of Eau Claire; four grandchildren: Ashley, Elizabeth and Evan Hetchler and Matthew Wildermuth-Hetchler. She is also survived by her sister: Linda (Jim) Jacobs and her brothers: Tom Woodcock, Dick (Denise) Woodcock and Bob Woodcock.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Lyle and Lucille

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at the Bloomer Cemetery. A time of food and fellowship will be held at the Main St. Café in Bloomer following the service.
