Christina M. Dornon

Christina M. Dornon, age 48, of Bloomer, WI passed away following an unexpected hemorrhagic stroke on September 16, 2026.

Christina was born on November 20, 1977, in Shakopee, MN to Mary (Kmecik) and Gerard Seurer. She grew up in Jordan, MN and moved to Bloomer, WI in 1991 where she enjoyed life on a dairy farm. Christina attended Bloomer High School and graduated with the Class of 1996.

Christina loved being a stay-at-home mom and raising her children. She previously worked as a CNA and more recently worked at Scheidler's Huron Tavern in Stanley, WI. She enjoyed going shopping, getting her nails done and all things Highland Cows.

Christina is survived by her father: Gerard Seurer and mother: Mary Kmecik; four children: Tamara Dornon, Taylor Dornon (Brandon), Tiffany Dornon, Trevor Dornon and their father: Arron Dornon; six grandchildren: Messiah, Safayah, Layne, Hudsyn, Emery and Kooper; four siblings: Melissa (Eric Nelson) Schmidt, Suzanne (Terry) Haile, and Jennifer (Terence) Vollendorf and Jeremy (Lynette) Seurer; five nieces and nephews: Ruthann, Olivia, Cheyenne, Bentley and Collin; loving companion: Russ Little and his mother: Margo; and all of her extended family members and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Lambert and Ruth Seurer; maternal grandparents: Donald and Carol Kmecik; brother-in-law: Chris Schmidt; honorary nephew: Logan Kurtenbach and family friend: Rick Rihn.

Through the gift of organ donation, Christina has given others the precious gift of life and leaves behind a lasting legacy of love and generosity. The family would like to thank the Neuro Surgery Team and all the supporting staff of the Critical Care Unit at Mayo Clinic Health Systems for their care and tireless efforts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church Cooks Valley: 4540 State Hwy 40, Bloomer, WI 54724. A Celebration of Life will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at The Bloomer House: 1019 15th Ave. Bloomer, WI 54724. A Private burial will be held at a later date in the Bloomer Cemetery.
