Charlotte Nelson

Bloomer Charlotte I.(Tiny) Nelson, age 84, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Colfax Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was born January 30, 1925 in Wheeler WI to Alfred & Ada (Leach) Hoff Sr. She married Oscar Nelson on August 22, 1942 in Stillwater, Minnesota. Tiny enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, hunting and dancing. Most of all, she enjoyed having fun with family and friends. Her ever present smile will be always remembered and forever missed.

She is survived by two sons: Kenneth Nelson of Colfax & Gary (Lori Schmitz) Nelson of Bloomer; two daughters: Gloria "Beano" Nelson of Tilden & Shirley Nelson of Sioux City IA; one brother: Alfred (Anne) Hoff of Menomonie WI, three sisters: Eileen Klicko of Menomonie, Hazel Siler of Menomonie and Janice Roubal of Barron WI, four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, six great- grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Oscar; one son: Jerry;
four brothers: Clyde, Mervin, Wayne and Merlin Hoff; one sister: Fern McIntyre

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday April 9th 2009 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer with Rev. Robert Hannemann officiating. Interment will be in the Hay River Cemetery in Wheeler. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Wednesday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
