Carole Fleming

Carole Jean (Ross) Fleming, age 59, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire after a courageous two year fight with multiple myeloma. She was born October 24, 1949 in LaCrosse to Vern & Elizabeth (Petersen) Ross. She married Everett Fleming on June 9, 2007 in Bloomer. She worked as a supervisor for Cray Research, Mason Shoes & Anderson Windows. She was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, dancing, gardening, fishing, camping, going to Country Fest, traveling out West, helping others and spending time with her family & friends.



She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Niss & Marie Petersen & her paternal grandparents: John & Lizzie Ross.



She is survived by her husband: Everett of Chippewa Falls; one son: Wayne (Kristen) Rihn of New London WI; one daughter: Sandi Rihn of Chippewa Falls WI; parents: Vern & Elizabeth (Petersen) Ross of LaCrosse; brothers: David (Paulette) Ross of Romance WI, Ray (Barb) Ross of Bloomer, John (Kathy Schaller) Ross of Stoddard WI, Roger (Julie) Ross of LaCrosse, Jim (Alice) Ross of Chaplaine MN; two sisters: Sara Anderson of Kansas City MO & Kathy (Greg) Kuhlow of Big Lake MN; three grandchildren: Kyle, Logan & Lindsey; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.



Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church located at 1403 Newman Street in Bloomer. Friends may call from 4:00 �" 8:00 on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Olson Funeral Home, 1516 Larson St., Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
