Bruce Toycen

Bruce M. Toycen, age 72, passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 at his home. He was born November 14, 1936 in New Auburn to Casse & Leah M. (Latham) Toycen. He married Judy Rae Richards on October 17, 1964 in Menomonie. He worked for 20 years at Ike Manufacturing and 16 years for the Milwaukee Journal, St. Paul Pioneer Press & Eau Claire Leader. He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, fishing, using the computer, visiting with friends and family.

He is survived by his wife: Judy of Stanley, numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Casse & Leah Toycen; step-mother: Bernice Jacobs Richards; one infant brother; one step-brother: Charles Richards.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 11:00 AM at the United Methodist Church in Bloomer with David W. Olson officiating. Interment will be in the New Auburn Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:00 AM until the time of service on Tuesday at the church.
