Brock Raymond Miller

Brock Raymond Miller, 67, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 29, 2023.

Brock was born to Raymond and Gloria Miller and grew up in a happy and busy family in Bloomer.  He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.  He was active in FFA, band and golf, and  was selected to attend Badger Boys State.  Brock was a State FFA Officer and a State FFA Public Speaking winner.  He graduated from Bloomer High School in 1974.

Brock graduated from CVTC and was employed for many years at Fairview Hospital in Minneapolis.  His real gift was caregiving.  He moved home from Minnesota when his dad had a stroke that brought on vascular dementia.  He tenderly cared for his dad for over seven years.  Brock continued to the present time as a caregiver for his dear Aunt Eleanor.

Brock is survived by his mother Gloria, sister Becky (Nate) Splett, brother Brett, and nephew Shane, niece Natasha, and 98 year old beloved Aunt Eleanor, and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father Ray, and niece Chanel. 

A visitation will be held on July 8^th at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer beginning at 3:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m.   Private burial will be in the family plot at the Scandinavian Prairie Cemetery.
