Brett M Miller

February 10, 1958 — March 11, 2026

Bloomer

Brett Mitchell Miller, 68, passed away unexpectedly as a result of a heart attack at home on March 11, 2026.

Brett was born to Raymond and Gloria Miller and grew up in a happy and busy family in Bloomer. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. He was active in FFA, band and golf. Brett was a State FFA Officer and a State FFA Public Speaking winner. He graduated from Bloomer High School in 1976. He married Jill Lee in 1983 and they later divorced.

Brett worked at Mid-America Dairy in Bloomer and later moved to California to become the plant manager at F&A Dairy. When he moved back to Wisconsin one of his favorite jobs before retirement was working on the fly team for Menards, flying to set up new Menards stores in North Dakota.

Brett enjoyed family time. He lived less than a block away from his childhood home. Every evening the family gathered to play Jeopardy and trivia games, and the time together was always concluded with Brett making root beer floats.

Brett was a 5-year, stage 4 kidney cancer survivor and had a renewed love of life. He truly amazed his medical team with his recovery. He was so grateful for every extra day he had to live.

Brett is survived by his mother Gloria, son Shane, stepdaughter Natasha, sister Becky (Nate) Splett, and 101 year young aunt Eleanor, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond, daughter Chanel, and brother Brock.
