Bonnie L. Stowe, age 69, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 25, 2019, surrounded by loved ones who held her hand as she peacefully passed on to Heaven. Bonnie was born September 25, 1949 in Muscatine, Iowa to Willard and Edith (Wakefield) Mack. She married Glen Stowe, the one true love of her life, on January 21, 1995 in Moline, Illinois. Together they turned a house into a home, filled with memories and love. Their lives revolved around family, having opened their doors to many down through the years. If asked to use one word to describe Bonnie, TOUGH would be at the top of the list. She was a warrior and could do anything she put her mind to. She fought long and hard, always worrying about those she would leave behind. She fought with dignity and pride. She loved with her whole heart. She was constantly busy being a homemaker extraordinaire. When she wasn't cleaning, cooking, or caring for her family, she could be found reupholstering furniture, sewing, working on a new craft project, or loving on her two cats, Bessye and Barnaby Jones. Words cannot describe the impact she had on all the lives she touched. Lives forever changed by her passing. Bonnie was blessed with a family who loved and cared for her until the very end. She was also blessed with a very special hospice team, especially her nurse, Kim. Her family is forever grateful for the love and selflessness of her care team from St. Croix Hospice.
