Betty Mae Erickson

Betty M. Erickson, age 84, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2014 at the Chippewa Manor. She was born on November 30, 1929 in Eau Claire WI to Ole and Ruth (Jones) Nelson. She married Edward Erickson on March 19, 1949 in Eau Claire. Betty worked as a cook for Chippewa School District and enjoyed shopping, cooking, going on road trips, gardening, especially flowers and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter: Vickie (Ron) Szura of Eau Claire; one daughter-in-law: Sally Erickson of Altoona; two grandchildren: Bob (Marie) Erickson of Hallie and Jamie Erickson of San Antonio TX; three great-grandchildren: Paige, Hayley and Brennin.

She is preceded in death by her parents: husband: Edward; son: Larry; brothers: Oscar, Alan and Dick Nelson; sisters: Lorraine Anderson, Marion Cooper, Edith Wilke, Janice Perry, Lila Solberg and Gladis Johnson.
