Barbara Pecha

Barbara L. Pecha, age 71, formerly of Bloomer, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 at American Lutheran Home in Mondovi. She was born June 26, 1938 in the Town of Howard, Chippewa County, Wisconsin to Jacob & Molly (Lang) Anderson. She worked as a chef in various supper clubs, and was known for her potato dumplings. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, Sunday drives, visiting relatives and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons: Paul (Cheryl) Pecha & Jacob Pecha: one daughter: Joy (Robert) Seyller; one brother: Norman Anderson of Albertville; 13 grandchildren: Jason Wold, Jacob Wold, Anna Seyller, Jessie Brownell, Angie Jackson, Melissa Seyller, Edward Deacon, David Deacon, Andrew Pecha, Danica Pecha, Katelyn Pecha, Jessica (Fiancee: Paul Lehman) Pecha & Brett Pecha; several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters: Jamie in infancy & Pamela Pecha; former husband and father of their five children: Donald Pecha; six brothers: John, Leonard, Roy, Herb, Donald & Jim Anderson; three sisters: Marie Thibado, Johanna Schlottman & Josie Myers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at 1:00 PM at St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer. Interment will be in the South Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 �" 8:00 on Wednesday and 8:00 �" 12:30 AM on Thursday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. There will be a Christian Wake Service at 7:30 PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
