Barbara A. Crisp

Barbara A. Crisp, age 78, passed away at her home in Bloomer on Friday, September 4, 2026. She was born on January 29, 1948 in Milwaukee to Harry and Ruth (Black) Conrad. Barb was married to David Hetke and later divorced. She was then married to Duane Swan until his passing in 1998 and Melvyn Crisp until his passing in 2024. She worked as Director of Nursing at Dallas Nursing Home and Hetzel Care Center in Bloomer.

She is survived by her children: Scott (Bette) Hetke, Laura Hetke and Duane Swan; step-children: Dayna Thomas, John (Peggy Moore) Crisp; siblings: Sandy (Doug) Hilger, Linda (Rich) Greenblatt, Doug (Debbie) Conrad, Cindy (Roger) Miller, Vicki (Jeff) Eder, Vinton Jr. (Penny) Hetke, Mark (Dana) Hetke; grandchildren: Cody (Fiancée, Molly) Hetke, Mykol Pree and Alexander Henning; great-grandchild: Henry Hetke; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Harry Conrad and Ruth (Vinton Sr.) Hetke; husbands: Duane and Mel; sons: Geoff Hetke and Christopher Swan; grandson: Jacob Hetke; siblings: Debbie Schwartz, David Conrad, Lucille Christianson, Deloris Rihn and Ellsworth Conrad.

Funeral services will be held at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer on Wednesday 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the North Catholic Cemetery
