Aundray J. Kollwitz

Aundray J. Kollwitz, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 at his home in New Auburn. He was born October 17, 1999 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chippewa Falls to Ray and Carrie (Batz) Kollwitz. He was a freshman at New Auburn High School where he enjoyed playing football. He loved being one with nature, sleeping under the stars, living off the land and even bringing the outdoors inside with the greenhouse he built. He had a very creative mind, inventing things to use in his greenhouse and on his many forays outside. His mischievous grin was contagious, bringing joy to those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents: Carrie and Ray Kollwitz of New Auburn; one brother: Mason Kollwitz of New Auburn; Paternal grandfather: Timothy Kollwitz of New Auburn; maternal grandfather: Dennis Batz of Bloomer; maternal grandmother: Jane Tolman of Utah; numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Linda Hove.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer. Friends may call Friday evening from 4:00 – 8:00 at the funeral home and up to the time of service on Saturday.
