Arvilla Crawford

Arvilla G. Crawford, age 92, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009 at Hetzel Care Center in Bloomer. She was born June 5, 1916 in Bloomer to August & Lena (Albrecht) Marquardt. She married Wayne Crawford on March 12, 1938 in Cornell. She worked as a school bus driver and also at Presto in Eau Claire. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, playing cards, growing African Violets and spending time with her family.

She is survived by three children: Linda (Larry) Johnston of Mondovi and twins, Richard (Marilyn) Crawford of New Auburn & Susan (Michael) Fischer of Sheboygan WI; one daughter-in-law: Donna Crawford of Eau Claire; two sisters-in-law: Irene Crawford of Mondovi & Katie Crawford of LaCrosse; 11 grandchildren: Bradley Crawford, Pamela (Joe) Chilson, Lisa (Donald) Bishopp, LaMonte Johnston, Maria Beffa, Justin Crawford, twins, Kerrie (Bryan) Zimmermann & Karla Crawford, Kane (Rhea) Crawford, Jason (fiancee: Jennifer Godard) Fischer, Amanda (Mark) Rowe; 11 great-grandchildren: Boe, Kyle & Tyler Bishopp, Brooks & Lexey Beffa, Brandon & Bradly Zimmermann, Alexis & Odin Rowe, Cailynn Lofgren & Parker Crawford; one great-great-granddaughter: Alana Bishopp.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Wayne; two sons: Glen & Roy Crawford; one brother: Clinton Marquardt; two sisters: Alyce & Elva Marquardt

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer with Rev. Robert Otto officiating. Interment will be in the Bloomer Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 �" 8:00 on Friday at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
