Arnold W. Voigt, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Care Partners in Eau Claire, WI.
Arnold was born on August 28, 1945, in Campbellsport, WI to Arnold F. and Mary B. (Wagner) Voigt. He attended Clayton High School and received a Bachelor’s Degree at UW Eau Claire. He worked as an independent life insurance agent, a car salesman and a substitute teacher. In his younger years, Arnold loved to play football, basketball and softball and in his later years he enjoyed watching sports while snacking on something sweet or salty. Arnold was an avid outdoors man who spent many hours hunting, fishing and trapping. He was a wordsmith who appreciated a good game of scrabble and had a witty sense of humor.
Arnold is survived by his children: Arnold L. (Patricia) Voigt of Greeneville, Tennessee, Laura (Zac) Lee of Colfax, Iowa and Amy (Darren) Kirby of Bloomer, Wisconsin; sister: Judith Kingsbury of Clayton, Wisconsin; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Arnold F. and Mary Voigt.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer, with a visitation starting one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Turtle Lake, WI.
