Arlene K. Christianson

Arlene K. Christianson, age 74, of Bloomer, WI passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, with her husband by her side, under the care of St. Croix Hospice.

Arlene was born on June 9, 1951, in Chippewa Falls, WI to Maurice and Amalia (Bowe) Barber. In her early years, she worked as an inspector at F and F Shoe Factory in Chippewa Falls. On March 12, 1983, Arlene married Harley J. Christianson at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. After her marriage, Arlene and Harley truly enjoyed the rhythm of farm life, taking care of the animals and tending to the garden. She also spent time reading books, coloring and doing word searches.

Arlene is survived by her husband: Harley Christianson; sisters: Jean (Mark) Rubenzer, Joyce Petska, and Carol (Mark) Bohl; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Maurice and Amalia Barber; and sister: Patricia Schindler.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – Noon, on Friday, November 7, 2025, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer. A funeral service will begin at Noon, on Friday, at the church. Burial will be in the Bloomer Cemetery.
