Allen H. Krueger

Allen H. Krueger, age 86, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Bloomer. He was born August 12, 1927 in the Town of Cleveland to Paul and Lydia (Kressin) Krueger. He married Elsie Loew on June 3, 1946 in Bloomer. Allen was a self-employed dairy farmer and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer. He was a very sociable man and enjoyed telling a good story, visiting with people, watching TV and spending time with family, friends and especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife: Elsie of Bloomer; two sons: Richard and Steve Krueger, both of Bloomer; two daughters: Darlene (Kenneth) Sarauer of Chippewa Falls and Lorraine (Charlie) Rubenzer of Bloomer; one sister: Doris (Bob) Lane of Bloomer; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Lydia Krueger; three brothers: Clarence, Robert and Herbert Krueger; two sisters: Irene Krueger and Lucille Hilger.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer. There will be a visitation from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church. Burial will take place in the North Catholic Cemetery.
