Obituary for Allan Richard Meuli

Allan R. Meuli, age 71, passed away at his home on Monday, October 8, 2012. He was born on May 18, 1941 in Chippewa Falls, WI to Earle and Isabel (Dresel) Meuli. He married the love of his life, Mary Jo Keenan on June 4, 1966 in Eau Claire. He served in the US Air Force and was a computer applications engineer for Honeywell. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church in Bloomer where he enjoyed being a Eucharistic Minister and helping with the church services. He was an avid reader, enjoyed computers and loved spending time with his grand kids.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Jo of Town of Eagle Point; two sons: Allan (Megan) Meuli of Richfield MN and Dan (Melyssa) Meuli of Burnsville MN; one daughter: Kelly (Barry) Collins of Apple Valley MN; one sister: Yvonne (Louie) Hebert of Chippewa Falls WI; one sister-in-law: Michele (Dick) Aubert; Grandchildren: Madeline and Angela Meuli, Isabelle, Josephine, Katherine, Gabrielle and Monica Collins, Connor Meuli; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Earle and Gerald; one sister: Judith.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Catholic Church on Monday, October 15, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Father John Potachek officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of service at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. There will be no visitation on Sunday evening.
