Alice J. Lane, age 84, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Dove Healthcare in Bloomer. She was born April 22, 1937 in Bloomer to Raymond and Lenora (Meier) Lane. Alice worked as a bookkeeper for Chippewa Motor Freight and Bloomer Feed Mill. She was a member of the Bloomer United Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling, reading, knitting and crafting.
She is survived by her sister: Ruth Hilger of Chippewa Falls; sisters-in-law: Cleo Lane of Eau Claire and Fran Lane of Bloomer; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Ray and Lenora Lane; brothers: Robert, James, Paul and infant, John Lane.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at 5:00 PM at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer with a visitation from 4:00 – 5:00. Burial will be in the Bloomer Cemetery. Please follow social distancing guidelines.
