A. Kenneth Stelter

A. Kenneth Stelter, age 90, passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 7, 2015. He was born in Bloomer on October 2, 1924 to Oscar and Esther (Rosenbrook) Stelter. He married Esther Von Haden on February 23, 1952 in Augusta. Kenneth drove truck for Babbits and was a dairy farmer for most of his life. He was a hard worker, loved God and his family. Singing was a joy for him. He was an original member of the New Auburn Community Choir, sang in several church choirs and for numerous weddings and family events.
He is survived by his wife: Esther of Bloomer; Children: Jane (William) Sykora of Chippewa Falls, Jean Stelter of Middleton WI, Joanne (Tom) Heck of Bloomer, Judy Stelter of Bloomer, Janette (Mike) Klingbeil of Bloomer, Jerrid (Michelle) Stelter of Rio Rancho NM; grandchildren: Brenden (Helene) Sykora, Catherine and Joshua Heck, Zachary and Abigail Stelter; great-grandchildren: William, Annalisa and Tahlia.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Oscar and Esther Stelter: Brothers: Harold, Wilbert, Orvin and Edwin Stelter; sister: Alice Christianson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Assembly of God Church in Bloomer. Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 on Friday and one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Olson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
