On a beautiful fall day with the loves of his life by his side, Steve Winfield, age 64, passed away at peacefully at MCHS in Bloomer on Monday, October 07, 2019. He was born on September 7, 1955 to Orville and Ruth (Gussarson) Winfield in Kenosha Wisconsin. He married Sharon Henneman on September 10, 1983 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bloomer and together they raised 3 daughters; Katie, Emily and Anna. Steve worked as a carpenter for most of his life and enjoyed the simple beauty of Wisconsin, especially the sunrises and sunsets. He could be found drifting around Rock Lake on his old pontoon hoping to catch the big one, only to throw it back. Steve loved to travel as long as he had the love of his life by his side, whether it was Vegas, Hawaii, NASCAR, a road trip to look at the fall leaves, or the occasional trip to the casino, Steve and Sharon loved being together. Steve took joy in making little kiddos giggle and playing with Tinker and his grand puppies. He had a huge soft spot in his heart for his granddaughter, Kora Rae and looked forward to his Tuesday play dates with her. He will be missed by all who knew him.
