Richard W. Vetterkind

Richard W. Vetterkind, age 46, passed away August 27, 2021 at Advent Health in Durand. He was born October 13, 1974 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Gary and Joyce (Frank) Vetterkind. He worked in a paper mill and enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, traveling to North Dakota and spending time with family and friends, especially his daughter, Jodi who was the apple of his eye.

He is survived by his father: Gary of New Auburn; partner: Kristin “Kris” Wayne of Durand; daughter: Jodi Vetterkind of Durand; brother: Michael (Amie Hayes) Vetterkind of Eau Claire; sisters: Deadra Minto of Bruce, Colleen (Terry) Fedie of Pahrump, NV; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his mother: Joyce; sister: Vicki Vetterkind

Services will be held at the Olson Funeral Home in Bloomer at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2021 with a visitation 2 hours before the service. Burial will be at Island Lake Cemetery.
