I was a nursing student at UWEC from 2010-2014, and Diane was my clinical instructor for two clinicals: my first ever clinical as a nursing student in Bloomer, and later on the Rosebud Reservation. So much of who I am as a nurse is because of Diane. I find myself channeling her when I work with new nurses and nursing students. She was a remarkable woman, an ideal role model, and an incredible nurse. Though her work as an instructor, she has touched more lives than amy of us will ever know. She will be so missed. I am thinking of all of her family during this impossibly challenging time, and sending you all love. Know that Diane will never be forgotten by those of us who were privileged enough to learn from her.

Dear Family: My deepest condolences to you all at this terrible loss. Diane was the nicest person anyone could be lucky enough to meet. I used to work at the UWEC Marshfield Site and knew of Diane when she would call or come to the Marshfield site, but Diane always made people feel important, welcome and was always very nice and friendly. Diane will be dearly missed. May the many happy memories of Diane live on in your hearts forever. Again, my deepest condolences and sympathies to all of Diane's family and co-workers at UWEC.

I am so sorry to hear of Diane’s passing. I remember her endless smile and cheerful spirit. We met when our children were preschoolers. We enjoyed many carefree evenings scrapbooking and sharing stories of fun times we had with our families. I remember how she loved her family so much and adored being a wife and mother. My deepest condolences.
